Great Day Latte Barista
Part-time Position

As a barista at Great Day Latte, you will be the face of our coffee shop, responsible for creating memorable experiences for our customers through excellent service and top-notch coffee. Your primary duties will include preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and engaging with customers to ensure they have a fantastic experience every time they visit.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and other specialty beverages.
- Ensure consistency in every cup by adhering to our coffee brewing techniques and recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas.
- Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment, including grinders, espresso machines, and blenders.
- Keep up-to-date with menu changes, seasonal offerings, and promotions.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the coffee shop.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and informing management of any shortages.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:
- Previous barista or coffee shop experience is preferred but not required.
- Passion for coffee and a desire to learn about different brewing methods and coffee origins.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Great Day Latte Cashier
Position CLOSED

As a cashier at Great Day Latte, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include processing transactions, managing the cash register, and providing excellent customer service. You will play a key role in creating a positive and welcoming environment for our patrons.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and answer any questions they may have about our menu.
- Accurately take customer orders and process payments using our point-of-sale system.
- Provide information about menu items, ingredients, and dietary options.
- Ensure the cash register is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier area.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas.
- Assist with restocking supplies and maintaining inventory as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the coffee shop.
- Promote and upsell menu items and special promotions.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
